TFD was called out to assist Cal Fire on a wildland fire on Lupine Lane at 3:12pm on July 12, 2014. Upon arrival a workshop / horse barn was threatened which was quickly contained to a quarter of an acre. Cause of the fire was due to the use of a hand held grinding wheel.

Brush fire on Templeton Road burns 12 acres

Templeton Fire was called out on a second alarm of a brush fire near the intersection of Templeton Road and El Pomar Road,  it’s located about 1.5 miles from Highway 41. The blaze burned 12 acres. No evacuations were ordered. Information on its cause and how many personnel responded was not immediately available.
