TFD was called out to assist Cal Fire on a wildland fire on Lupine Lane at 3:12pm on July 12, 2014. Upon arrival a workshop / horse barn was threatened which was quickly contained to a quarter of an acre. Cause of the fire was due to the use of a hand held grinding wheel.

Templeton Firefighters Association participated in its 15th year of Relay for Life which was held at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds. Members of the department kicked off the celebration by serving breakfast “To Heros by Heros” provided by the Wellness Kitchen in Templeton.
